Barnwell County and the surrounding area are home to major industry and training: the Kronotex USA wood-products plant, the Government Training Institute (GTI) in the Advanced Technology Park, the Savannah River Site, which spans parts of Barnwell, Aiken and Allendale counties, and new construction such as Hampton Lumber’s sawmill project near Fairfax. If your crew, vendor team, trainees or visiting staff are working at one of these or elsewhere in the area, Winton Inn & Suites can be your home base in town.
